Christmas DIY wrapping paper

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm loving DIY's lately! I was never really the "do it yourself" person before but maybe it's because I'm feeling like a kid again with these crafts, or my new found love for all household things aesthetically pleasing but I've been DIY-ing up a storm in this house the last couple of months.

One Christmas staple is gifts under the tree, and DIY wrapping paper design can be a fun way to personalize your gifts. When it comes to Christmas items, wrapping paper is often the one that goes the quickest. Especially now with the skimpy amount of paper they give you on those rolls. {Seriously, I swear they're giving less and less these days. Two presents are wrapped and you're out of paper!}

Luckily the paper I get is from the post office and not only is it cheap, it's plentiful in its roll. Keep reading for some gift wrapping inspo that prove presentation is everything.

What you'll need:

  • Scissors
  • String
  • Scotch tape
  • Bells {I got mine from the dollar store}
  • A sponge {cut into the shape of a tree}. You can also use a potato for a less "holey" look. Cut the potato in half, then carve a tree shape.
  • Craft paint
  • Fake garland
  • Paper rolls {I got the brown one from the post office and the white roll from Michaels}
